Date And Nut Loaf

Beat the eggs, add the sugar and vanilla. A little bit of orange zest added to the butter or cream cheese makes a great flavour combination with date nut bread!

Date and nut loaf. Ingredients 50g fresh yeast 800ml lukewarm water 2tbsp honey 2tbsp olive oil 1 egg 10g salt 50g oats 600g wholemeal flour 700g. Place chopped dates, walnuts, sultanas, ginger, sugar, bicarbonate soda, and butter into a bowl. Then add flour, stirring until just combined.

Place the nuts, dates, baking soda, salt and butter in a mixing bowl. Allow to cool step 2 of 4 then add the flour, salt and beaten egg. Grease a loaf tin and line with baking paper.

Pour boiling water over it and stir until butter has melted. Add the flour, baking powder, nutmeg, and beaten eggs to the date mixture. Top with another slice and trim any rough edges.

Using a spatula, fold the dry ingredients into the date mixture. Pour boiling water over and mix well. Mix in the vanilla, sugar, salt and eggs.

Mix, cover and let stand until the mixture cools. Ii used the spray with the flour in it.) place dates in large bowl. Use a sharp serrated bread knife to slice the loaf into very thin slices, about 1/4 ~ 1/3 inch.

Once the dates have cooled, add the vanilla extract and stir to combine. Cut on the diagonal into triangles. Date nut bread does not need to be refrigerated.

Step 4 of 4 bake for 50 minutes at 175°c Spread a slice generously with cream cheese. Stir in the butter until melted.

Use two loaf roll tins or loaf pans. Put the dates into a bowl. Preheat oven to 350°f and grease and flour 5 cleaned 15 oz cans.

Add boiling water and baking soda. Keep wrapped in plastic and chilled until serving. Butter and flour an 8 by 4 inch loaf tin.
